Data East CarryMap is an extension to ArcGIS Desktop provided for creating executable distributable portable maps. The maps can be created as Desktop Win32 and PocketPC applications. CarryMap portable maps are single self-sufficient executable files containing both Viewer and data. No access to map data provided, therefore data integrity is guaranteed. As well, portable maps can be protected with a password and map usage can be limited in time.
